About Crawford Computer Solutions, LLC (CCS):

Owned and operated by Tom Crawford, CCS is a small custom business software application development company that targets small to medium size businesses in an effort to bring to this community high-end professional products and services revolving around the Microsoft Office family of products and primarily centered on Microsoft Access desktop database application program.

CCS began in Elizabeth City, NC, in 1998, after recognizing the power and affordability of the professional version of Microsoft Office and that most small businesses already had Microsoft Office products installed on their computers (further reducing development costs) but lack the technical ability to utilize the program’s full potential relating to their individual business needs and requirements. CCS was originally created to provide businesses in the northeastern North Carolina region with affordable, windows based, custom built software to meet today’s demanding business requirements.

CCS was moved to the King George, Va. area in 2004 and is in the process of expanding our client base to the Northern Virginia area as well as continuing to maintain all current clients in the Northeastern North Carolina area. CCS’s primary application development software is MS Access which is a desktop database application program that is robust enough for the most demanding of situations and a majority of features found in the more expensive high end version (Microsoft SQL Server) at a fraction of the cost.

At CCS, client costs are kept to a minimum by allowing business owners to dictate their individual level of development for each application. Each step of the development process is carefully coordinated with our client to provide the absolute minimum programming process required to accomplish the task and/or reach their desired goal. Application upgrades or modifications may be proposed during development that may increase the efficiency, speed or data output, for consideration but our clients are never obligated or forced into accepting unwanted programming effort or unnecessary upgrades. On the other hand, CCS is always open and responsive to client requests for additional features that will enhance their work processes. CCS applications are fully updateable and upgradeable. Maintenance agreements can be provided but are never required because of the flexibility with which our applications are created, providing even greater cost savings to your company in the years following development. Whether your company’s application was created using MS Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, a company’s authorized employee(s) can even be trained to add system queries, reports, etc on site, further reducing the need for additional and/or outside assistance.
