CCS Rates: Most application development costs range between two and five thousand dollars depending upon the complexity and size of the application and/or the complexity of application operation. As distasteful as disclaimers are, I prefer to include my disclaimers first to ensure you understand I am not attempting to “hide” or “mislead” in any way. In this regard, please note that all “general” or “ballpark” quotes will not be binding upon Crawford Computer Solutions, LLC. Since specific quotes are extremely time intensive, given the fact we do not charge for this service, they will not be given without prior acceptance of anticipated project costs and schedules. Specific quotes are binding upon Crawford Computer Solutions, LLC and must be negotiated with and accepted by the client prior to project commencement. Specific quotes are provided for project development only and will not include charges relating to travel to your business, on-site time required to setup your equipment / application or other charges incurred while developing your application.
Payment
Rates Our pricing policy is relatively straightforward in that we charge a flat hourly fee of $65.00. We also offer “blocks” of time for either specific or general support. A unit or “block” of time may be 1 hour or 8 hours or even 40 hours, depending on your business needs. You can negotiate your own “block” of time and the quantity you wish to purchase (i.e. “block” of 8hrs and quantity of 5 blocks = 40 hours). Blocks of time may be used to support your business however you deem necessary, i.e. application development, upgrade, tweaking or maybe computer hardware or network support or possibly onsite training. Once purchased, blocks of hours do not expire and can be utilized anywhere within your company, i.e. different locations, etc.
What we do charge for (standard hourly fee): 1. Hourly application development. 2. For site visits, time to get TO your business (only after project commencement). 3. For site visits, time AT your business, i.e. equipment setup / configuration or onsite program modifications, etc. 4. Support of any type made in the form of remote connection, i.e. virtual private network (VPN), PC Anywhere, Remote dial-in, etc.
What we do not charge for: 1. Initial site visit meetings for the intended purpose of discussing specific application development layout/design in order to generate a detailed price quote. 2. Application design, to include initial site visit for meetings to discuss work processes. 3. Recommendations and/or advice regarding hardware, setup or configuration of existing or proposed computer hardware/network. 4. If you find an error in our programming AFTER the warranty period has expired, we will fix the error "remotely" without charge. Please note however, if we must travel to your location, that we MAY (at our discretion) charge for travel to as well as time at your location to deploy the fix. 5. Gasoline or fuel surcharge fees. 6. Email support for your application with your company employees to answer questions relating to operation and/or limitations of your application as well as possible workaround solutions.
Our Refund Policy: CCS firmly believes that no client should be obligated to pay for a product that does not meet their needs, expectations and requirements. Over the years we have developed what we call a “No-Fault” policy; its simple, straightforward and shows our commitment to our clients and our profession: Upon delivery of the final version of your application, if for some reason that application does not meet the requirements, as stated in the proposal letter, you will not be fiscally obligated to pay any amount above the minimum non-refundable deposit required for application startup and any monies collected (over the minimum non-refundable amount) will be refunded without question.
